With the presence of electrical vehicles and charging stations in homes becoming more prevalent, first responders are facing new challenges and inherent risks when it comes to responding to emergency calls. A major part of the fire departments’ operational procedures is preplanning events that can pose a higher risk. Responding to an emergency that may involve an electric vehicle, or a charging station is something that with a little bit of information already available, it can make a major difference in the outcome and safety of the residents, and also our first responders.
We are asking you as the residents of the fire district to provide us with a SMALL amount of information that can make a BIG difference. Once submitted, this information will be easily accessible to the first responders in the event of an emergency.
